FULL DISCLOSURE -
Part II
August 7, 2002 – Having failed with other attacks
on FTW’s research and having consistently been shown
to be incorrect, our critics have taken to asserting that
I made no direct comments about the CIA after my resignation
from the LAPD on November 30, 1978. In Part I we released
records showing that I was a highly decorated officer, earning
the highest possible rating reports and having no pending
disciplinary actions when I resigned.
In our second release of documents we now show the paper
record of exactly why I resigned and exactly what I was
saying at the time. All of these documents are self-explanatory
and they have been posted in chronological order. Only two
of them need amplification.
The very first document is a certified mail return receipt
from 1977. The letter it was attached to was a handwritten
letter to my relatives Sam and Barbara Burges, career employees
of the Central Intelligence Agency. After returning from
New Orleans in July and having seen my fiancée –
whom I had finally identified as a CIA career contract agent
– directly involved in the importation of drugs and
the shipment of weapons to Iran on ships owned by Brown
and Root, I wrote to the Burgeses and asked for their intercession
with the Agency. I wanted the tails, burglaries and shooting
to stop. Nothing ever came of that and the Burgeses told
me that all they could do was to forward the letter to CIA
Security. But note that there are three postmarks on the
receipt, indicating that the letter was delayed and routed
through three different post offices for unexplained reasons
before it got to them. They later confirmed that the correctly
addressed letter took two weeks to get from Los Angeles
to where they lived in Virginia.
The very last document, nine years later, is the final response
to a series of appeals made by me in my attempts to get
a FOIA response from the CIA on what I had seen and complained
about. Note that their response says that release of the
report – which could have been twenty documents placed
into one report – was denied on the basis of national
security interest and because it would disclose the identity
of CIA agents.
FTW doesn’t fabricate or bluff. Even though we cannot
match the intensity or number of attacks that have been
lodged against all over the US and Canada, we can respond
as time permits and show that all of the allegations that
propaganda-based media and journalists have thrown at us
are false. They have taken their best shots and failed.
Now we continue to prove them wrong, piece by piece and
in our own time.
